Gail & Brian

Here it is, the long awaited wedding post! This was the first wedding I ever assisted on. It was outdoors in the beginning of June, actually in the groom's parent's backyard near Mankato. It was really hot that day (seriously, I think I almost fainted)! Weddings were never something I wanted desperately to do for a living. Interested in the process? Yes. But what I found out is that my first instinct was correct. While I would be happy to continue assisting on weddings, it is not a segment of photography I would like to do for a lifetime. There is so much stress involved and I am more interested in getting a good portrait than making sure I have shots of every person the bride wants to see. Well... on for the photos... enjoy! Here is the entire wedding as it sat in the groom's parent's backyard

Bridesmaids

The grooms phone rang during the ceremony, here is the reaction of the bride. What was so funny is that the bride TOLD him earlier that his phone better not ring during the wedding!

After the ceremony a bunch of the kids ran out to the dock with fishing poles
