delicious cookies

Time for a post from the pages of my sister-in-laws blog, it's all happening! A few weeks ago I had the urge to bake, this comes once in a while, sometimes I listen. Not just bake though, I wanted to make my Grandma's Delicious Cookies. I can't even think of how to explain these cookies, because they don't follow the lines of any traditional cookie. With ingredients like sour cream, nutmeg, and cloves, Delicious Cookies aren't extremely sweet, they are something different. All of my siblings will tell you that these cookies were a staple when visiting Grandma in Sioux Falls. I have made these once before, but they were not perfect. This time I think I came much much closer.

One of the main qualities of Delicious Cookies is their intense thinness from being rolled out.

The raisins are meant to be ground (grinded?) but I just chop them. It's a little easier, but leaves for bigger raisin pieces.
