my published life
A few months ago I took a trip up to Duluth. I wanted a random vacation, so I went by myself for a little last minute photo tour. Working for a hotel has really made this worth it. Two days in Duluth, one night in a nice hotel at $49/night, can't get too much better! I drove up early and stopped in Hinckley to take photos there as well.
I really enjoyed my time there. Not sure if that is strange or not being as I was all alone, but oh well. Most of my time was spent walking along the boardwalk. One of the best times I've ever had in Duluth was when I went with Kirsten and Lisa before our senior year in high school. So I also took a boat tour, which reminded me of that time. It was quite strange but I remembered most of where that tour went and the sights I expected to see from six years ago.
I ended up getting a lot of great shots, but just recently actually got around to editing them (I will never be as quick as Erin). Part of this plan was to compile the best photos to be put into my first photo book. Well, the book is just about complete, just a few finishing touches are needed. I found a great site, Blurb, that publishes your books, of any kind. Just download a program, put images and text where you want it, and submit! If you choose they will even put your book up for sale on their website. I will let everyone know when this is final and you are able to buy my book (yes, I believe I do get a cut). For now, here are a few sample images from Duluth...
